AV-TEST, a leading independent testing organization, uses one of the largest collections of digital malware samples in the world to create a real-world environment for highly accurate in-house testing.<\/p>\n<p><!\u2013 \/wp:paragraph \u2013><\/p>\n<p><!\u2013 wp:paragraph \u2013><\/p>\n<p>In July 2020, AV-Test evaluated 17 mobile security products for Android, using their default settings and the most current versions of all products. The testing focused on malware detection and (product) usability, including performance and false positives. ESET Mobile Security achieved the highest score of 99.8% in \u201cProtection against the latest Android malware attacks in real time\u201d and \u201cDetection of widespread Android malware discovered in the last 4 weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!\u2013 \/wp:paragraph \u2013><\/p>\n<p><!\u2013 wp:paragraph \u2013><\/p>\n<p>The ESET Mobile Security app for Android was also highlighted for not impacting battery life or slowing down the device.
