February 8, 2018 \u2013 ESET<\/a>, the leading IT security vendor based in the European Union, will launch its latest IoT security solutions and share groundbreaking research into the security and privacy implications of smart homes and devices at Mobile World Congress (MWC) \u2013 taking place February 26 \u2013 March 1, 2018 in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

1. Hackers in the home?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Smart home gadgets were big news at CES 2018<\/a>, and there can be no doubt the latest and greatest in innovative smart devices will be on display at MWC. Consumers are continually acquiring more connected devices into their homes. Yet while they have their benefits, these cool gadgets have a darker side as individuals share more sensitive, personal data about their everyday lives.<\/p>\n
